OVERVIEW

Our daily working routines are based on the interaction of our surroundings. Picking and sourcing products, typing on the computer, serving food, selling goods, and much more.

Each day we encounter with different elements that contains a variety of materials, substances or chemicals that can be hazardous, cause skin allergies, reactions or infection, or can be a cross-contamination at interaction with a physical element.

Thats why is very important to get to know the difference between the different kinds of gloves that are on the market so that you can make a better and safer choice for your working hands.

DIsposable & Re-Usable gloves

Many may ask why buy one kind of glove over another? Some say is better to just buy disposable gloves because is more safer than re-using the same glove, and other say is more cost effective to just wash the glove and re-use it every-time.

The truth is that each glove has its purpose. One glove is made for intentional use (re-usable) and the other for incidental use (disposable)

One of the most common question we get when buying a glove is which size fits my hand the best. Is normal that most of the people have this doubt because, in most scenarios, people tend to have to work with gloves all day and they want to have a comfort on their hands while doing their job.

Choosing the correct size can be a tricky situation, it’s going to depend on the performance you gonna have while using the glove. Other than that, generally the most accurate way to know your size of glove is by measuring across the widest part of your palm without including your thumb.

In terms of Disposable Gloves, when it comes to Nitrile and Latex, they tend to have a good fitting between sizes thanks to their elongation structure.

In terms of Re-Usable Gloves, the comfort will depend on the correct fitment of the glove with your hand, and the dexterity and size range will depend on the materials that manufacture choose for the glove, so keep in mind those details when choosing for your need.

When talking about disposable gloves, it always comes to mind 3 different types of materials: Nitrile, Vinyl and Latex. The question is: Which one is more suitable for my need?

  • Nitrile: Nitrile can be used in a variety of settings such as hospitals, chemical labs, and general-purpose areas. They are made out of synthetic material alluded to mimic latex and provide a thinner feel to your hands. Some benefits of nitrile glove are:

  • Vinyl: Vinyl are low-priced, easily replaceable gloves situated for fast workforces such as restaurants and industrial fields. They are produced from a petroleum-based material called PVC, which is easy to source. Vinyl gloves offer the least amount of protection and frame themselves as a convenience in terms of money and accessibility. Some benefits of vinyl glove are:
    • Non-Allergic
    • Cost-Effective
